LITTER ROBOT CLEANING

Use scrub brush to loosen clumps stuck to side/top of dome

Spray Rescue to remove fecal matter or smudges from inside of dome, clean with paper towel

Smaller, less stained areas can be wiped with Clorox wipe or similar

Wipe down outside of unit and front area with Clorox wipe
DISHES
Weekly

Empty out 'slop bucket' from back room, dump water in sink or toilet

Take all soiled dishes and trays [in bucket is easiest] to bathroom, with Scrub Daddy and dish soap

Prop door open while working on dishes

Scrub and clean all dishes, rinse off, dry

Can place on paper towel near host stand if needed for drying

Place dishes back on rack for future use
CAT TREE CLEANING
Weekly

Check tree for any stains, front or back

Wipe down any hard, non-porous surfaces with Clorox wipes, Rescue as needed

Use scraper tool to pull up fur from soft surfaces
WALLS
Weekly

Wipe down walls wherever there is FRP panel [about 3 feet and down]. Inspect for any stains

Wipe down grey baseboard and adjoining floor. Move items as needed, try to minimize disruption to Cat Room if being done during open hours
WINDOWS

Using glass cleaner and squeegee, clean the glass in the following order of priority :

Large picture windows in hallway [both sides]

Vestibule door windows [both sides]

Front of store window in cat room [inside]

Front of store window in hallway and door [inside]

All outdoor window surfaces

WATER FOUNTAINS
Bi-Weekly

Unplug fountains, take to bathroom

Disassemble, dump out water

Wipe down interior, remove all debris

Replace filter with new unit

Re-assemble, fill with water
-
Plug in, ensure cord protector covers all exposed cord.
HALLWAY/BATHROOM
Bi-Weekly

Clean sink, toilet, and floor in bathroom using available cleaners and brushes. Prop door open and use WET FLOOR sign while in progress

Sweep and mop hallway, shaking out or cleaning runner rugs if possible

Sweep and mop cafe area
UNDER FURNITURE
Monthly

Move sofa, ottomans, benches, tables, and all other semi-permanent furniture
-
Sweep and mop/clean the ground underneath
-
Pay close attention for dried stains, notify staff if you see evidence of insects or anything unusual
